2. Technical Requirements

1) Requirements specify that the capacity and cycle time of the fully automatic roller production line must be consistent and properly synchronized with the online system. The cycle time is 42 seconds.

2) Implement automatic loading and unloading of DTⅡ-type rollers, and complete automated palletizing.

3) Use water-based industrial coatings.

4) Adopt the baghouse dust removal process.

3. Spray Coating Line Process

4. Proposal Overview

The fully automatic roller coating line consists of a coating chain conveyor assembly, supporting structure, CNC-controlled feeding system for roller polishing, gantry robot No. 1, fully automatic follow-up feeder, patented lifting devices for the conveyor chain, CNC-controlled automatic coating booth assembly (equipped with high-voltage electrostatic spray guns), exhaust-type baghouse dust removal system, enclosed hot-air drying chamber assembly for the coating line, fully automatic follow-up discharger, gantry robot No. 2, roller stacking cart, and a control system.

The fully automatic roller coating line is compatible with the fully automatic roller production line, allowing it to operate either independently or under centralized control. It features a standard cycle time of 40 seconds, with adjustable speed capability within a ±10% range. Speed adjustment is achieved via a frequency inverter and driven by the chain-type conveyor system used for coating.

The patented conveyor chain suspension device is an invention patent technology that addresses the technical challenge of automating the loading and unloading of roller coating applications. It represents a domestic first, significantly reducing labor costs.

After the roller assembly is completed, it undergoes polishing to remove minor rust and excess grease before being transferred to the fully automated roller coating line for seamless paint application. The roller suspension is handled by a patented lifting device paired with a fully automatic, synchronized feeding system. The device’s clamping mechanism automatically locks into the groove on the roller shaft, ensuring a secure hold—so reliable that the rollers remain firmly in place without slipping or falling off.

Water-based industrial coatings are a new generation of anti-corrosion paints, widely used in airport terminals, equipment manufacturing industries, and more. Water-based acrylic coatings boast excellent film-forming properties, outstanding color retention, convenient application, and rapid drying—making them increasingly popular and broadly adopted.
