The workflow of the roller production line.
(1) Preparation of Raw Materials
First, transport raw materials such as steel pipes and shafts to the corresponding processing areas of the production line. The steel pipes must undergo quality inspection to ensure that their material, wall thickness, and other specifications meet the requirements for roller production; the raw materials for the shafts must also be initially checked to prepare for subsequent processing.
(2) Processing Stage
Steel Pipe Cutting: Cut the steel pipes using cutting equipment according to the predetermined roller length. The cut ends of the steel pipes should be smooth and free of burrs to ensure the smooth assembly in the next steps.
Shaft Processing: The shafts are processed on turning and grinding equipment through multiple procedures to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface quality. The processed shafts must be cleaned and treated for rust prevention to avoid rust affecting subsequent assembly.
(3) Assembly Process
Bearing Installation: Transport the processed shafts and cut steel pipes to the bearing installation equipment, and install the bearings onto the shafts and steel pipes according to the specified procedures. During the installation process, pay attention to the direction and installation force of the bearings to ensure they are installed correctly and securely.
Seal Installation: Install seals at both ends of the roller where the bearings are installed, ensuring that the seals are properly positioned to effectively prevent impurities from entering the interior of the roller.
(4) Welding and Coating
Welding (if necessary): If there is a welding process for the roller, weld the corresponding components on the welding equipment. After welding, inspect and clean the welds to ensure the quality meets the requirements.
Surface Treatment and Painting: The roller undergoes surface treatment in the coating area before painting. The painting must ensure an even coating without any missed spots, and the appropriate type of paint and coating thickness should be selected based on the roller's usage environment and requirements.
(5) Inspection and Packaging
Quality Inspection: The produced rollers must undergo comprehensive checks using dimensional and performance testing equipment. For non-conforming rollers, they should be marked and repaired; only rollers that pass inspection can proceed to the next stage.
Packaging: Package the rollers that have passed inspection, ensuring that the packaging materials can protect the rollers from damage during transportation and storage. The packaging should be labeled with the specifications, model, and other information of the rollers for easy subsequent use and management.
