Reasons for the roller not operating smoothly.
Factors affecting the flexibility of roller operation and its service life mainly include the following aspects.
(1) The manufacturing quality of the roller. This is mainly reflected in the insufficient stiffness of the bearing seat, which makes it difficult to ensure the assembly accuracy of the roller, thus restricting the flexibility of roller operation.
(2) Sealing lubrication and maintenance. Due to the harsh working environment of the belt conveyor, there is generally a lot of dust at the site of use. The sealing form of the bearing seat has a significant impact on the flexibility of roller operation. If the sealing is poor, dirt can easily enter the bearing, causing the roller to operate ineffectively. Additionally, if general calcium-based grease is used for bearing lubrication, it can easily discolor and dry out, failing to provide good lubrication.
